Don’t Clean Your Paintball Goggles With Paper Towels!
Using paper towels or toilet paper to clean goop off your paintball lens is a sure way to reduce your vision on the field! Though they may seem soft, paper fiber is actually abrasive and akin to rubbing your lens with ultra fine grit sandpaper. You are scratching your lens with every wipe until it will will be cloudy and murky to see through.
So what is the best way to clean a paintball goggle lens? You should have an approved lens cleaner and soft, a lint-free cloth and then a microfiber cloth. Wipe off the bulk of the gunk and spray with lens cleaner like Virtue Glint and use the soft cloth to remove and clean the bulk of the paint. Then, give it another light spritz and finely clean and polish it with the microfiber cloth. Only use microfiber cloth when cleaning the inside of your lens!
